Why Are These Thing needed in a film poster

Title- The title of the film is needed to show the audience what the film is called. This may seem basic but without a title a poster would not make sense and will not help the film to promote its self.

Picture of the main charter- this is needed to advertise what kind of film it will be. Most pictures of main charters on posters are, thought provoking which helps advertise because there audience wants to know more about the film.

Names of main actors- this helps the audience formularise themselves with who is going to be in the film. It also makes them aware of any well known actors in the film.

Quote from a review – this is needed is some posters to make the film seem more appealing. The quotes in film posters are always good reviews, never bad ones.

Names of directors – this is in small print because most people don’t really pay attention to directors. But for the small amount of people that do pay attention to directs this is very appealing to them as they can seem if the director is any good.

Small print of production – This is a legal requirement for most film posters as it shows how helped to create the film. Also it promotes the production company
